Requirements
  • This program is open to Wisconsin residents who can submit evidence of a severe or profound hearing or visual impairment certified by a medical examiner.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at least halftime at a branch of the University of Wisconsin, a technical college in the state, a Wisconsin independent college or university, a tribal college in the state, or an institution out of state that specializes in the training of deaf, hard of hearing, or visually handicapped students or that offers a program of study not offered by a Wisconsin institution.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
