Wisconsin Holstein Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Wisconsin Holstein Association (WHA) who are interested in studying a field related to agriculture at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to WHA members who are high school seniors or students currently enrolled at a 4-year college, a 1- or 2-year technical school, or a short course program in an agriculture-related field.
  • Students majoring in agricultural degrees receive highest consideration, although nonagriculture majors who are preparing for a career that contributes to rural communities are also eligible.
  • Selection is based on the school they plan to attend (10%), leadership roles (10%), student and organization activities (15%), involvement in WHA (25%), involvement with registered Holsteins (10%), an essay on whom they consider a role model in the dairy industry (10%), an essay on their future in the U.S. dairy industry (10%), and letters of recommendation (10%).
