Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time students currently enrolled as sophomores or juniors at accredited institutions of higher learning.
  • Applicants must be preparing for a career in the home and furnishings industry; relevant majors include accessory design, architectural design, forestry, furniture design, textile design, graphic design, interior architecture, marketing with a design or furniture minor, sustainable design, or other fields related to home and furnishing industries.
  • Selection is based primarily on academic performance, as reflected by GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, the essay, and letters of recommendation.
  • Special emphasis is placed on involvement in extracurricular activities and the community.
  • Financial need may be considered.
