Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are residents of the San Francisco Bay area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma counties).
  • Applicants must be completing their junior year at a college or university in the area and majoring in a field related to health care (e.g., health care services, public health, health care policy and research, health care management and administration, nursing, medicine, health technology, health law).
  • Selection is based on merit (academic achievement, leadership, integrity of character, preparation to meet key challenges in health care, and contribution to health care), but financial need may also be considered.
