Women Marines Association Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to students sponsored by members of the Women Marines Association (WMA).

Requirements

Applicants must be sponsored by a WMA member and fall into 1 of the following categories: 1) have served or are serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, regular or Reserve; 2) are a direct descendant by blood or legal adoption or a stepchild of a Marine on active duty or who has served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, regular or Reserve; 3) are a sibling or a descendant of a sibling by blood or legal adoption or a stepchild of a Marine on active duty or who has served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, regular or Reserve; 4) be a spouse of a Marine; or 5) have completed 2 years in a Marine Corps JROTC program.

WMA members may sponsor an unlimited number of applicants per year.

High school seniors must submit transcripts (GPA of 3.0 or higher) and SAT or ACT scores.

Undergraduate and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must know a WMA member to serve as their sponsor; the WMA will not supply listings of the names or addresses of chapters or individual members.
