Women of Gases and Welding District 20 Scholarship provides financial assistance to women from designated states interested in attending college to prepare for a career in the welding industry.

Requirements

This program is open to women who reside within the American Welding Society's District 20, which serves Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full or parttime in a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree program in welding, gases, or a related discipline at an academic institution within District 20.

They must be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
