About the Scholarship

The Women of the South Scholarship is available to graduating female seniors from one of the 10 approved high schools in Oklahoma. Students who are planning to attend a vocational or technical school, or a 2- or 4- year college or university in Oklahoma are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their academic standing, involvement in extracurricular activities, and financial need. Special consideration will be made for working students.

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Graduating senior from Capitol Hill, Crooked Oak, Moore, Mount St. Mary's, Santa Fe South Charter, Southeast, Southmoore, U.S. Grant, Western Heights, or Westmoore high schools in Oklahoma
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in Oklahoma
  • Female
  • Participate in extracurricular activities
