Women's Health Advocacy Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with scholarships for further study, members of the Latino Medical Student Association-Northeast (LMSA-NE) who have developed outstanding projects related to women's health.

Requirements
  • This program is open to LMSA-NE members currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or health sciences graduate institution in the Northeast.
  • Applicants must have completed a project aimed at improving women's health care, including (but not limited to) advocacy, research, education, or community service.
  • They must submit a 1page statement describing the activity or project, including their involvement and goals as related to women's health.
  • A supervisor, faculty adviser, or mentor involved with the project must also submit a brief statement.
