Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to "working ranch cowboys" and their family members who are interested in attending college or graduate school.

Requirements
  • This program is open to "working ranch cowboys," defined as any person, male or female, who derives at least 90% of their income from taking care of cattle on a cattle ranch.
  • Children and spouses of cowboys are also eligible.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college, trade school, vocational program, or graduate school in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on transcripts; an essay on their career goals, their plans for reaching those goals, and how they can use their career goals to contribute to the ranching community; school activities; community service, church, and other activities; positions of leadership; honors received; and financial situation.
