The Worthington Scholarship is open to seniors graduating from partner schools in Aroostook, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, Waldo, or Washington counties in Maine. Students who demonstrate financial need and are planning to enroll full-time at one of the 24 participating colleges or universities in the state are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA for students planning to attend a 4-year college or university, or 1.7 for students planning to attend a community college
  • Graduating senior at designated high schools in Aroostook, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, Waldo, or Washington counties in Maine
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning to attend one of the 24 participating colleges or universities in Maine
  • Maximum Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $30,000
