The Young Black Women Scholars Program provides financial assistance to African American women in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay area of California who are interested in attending college in any state. Women seeking their first degree receive priority consideration.

  • African American or Black female
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or leadership
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to women seeking their first degree.
