The YoungArts Photography Award is open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, or 15- to 18-year-olds by December 1 of the year of application. Students who participate in various photography styles such as documentary, conceptual, portrait, environment, color, black and white, alternative processes, digital, and mixed media are eligible to apply.
