AP Credit Policy
VMI awards semester-hour credit to all cadets earning a score of 5 (high honors) or 4 (honors) or 3 on the Advanced Placement Examination, or a grade of 4 or higher on International Baccalaureate courses. All credits are evaluated by the appropriate department heads and awarded only with their approval.
