Can students qualify for more than one award designation?

Yes. Students who meet the eligibility requirements can claim multiple award designations. In 2025, they will receive one certificate with each award listed. For example, a student who is the first in their family to attend college and attends a high school in a small town or rural area would qualify for a certificate with two awards: the First-Generation Recognition Award and the Rural Small-Town Recognition Award.
