Does a student qualify for the First-Generation Recognition Award if one of their parents has a bachelor's degree but the other does not?

No. A student does not qualify as first generation if one of their parents completed a bachelor's degree. If a student lives with or is supported by only one parent, and that parent does not have a bachelor's degree, then they do qualify as first generation.
