I can only see my most recent score. Where are my older scores?

Right now, some students can only see their most recent (fall 2025 or later) score in the app.

You can still access earlier scores by:

  • Signing in to your College Board account, or
  • Asking your school counselor for your PDF score report

Phone Number and Log In Questions

I don’t remember giving a phone number when I tested. Can I still use the BigFuture School app?

Yes.

  • Open the BigFuture School app and enter the mobile number you think you provided.
  • If you gave different mobile numbers when taking more than one eligible digital in-school test (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, or SAT School Day), you must use the most recent phone number you provided.
  • You don’t need the app on that phone, but you do need access to that phone to receive a verification code.

If you see a message saying your phone number isn’t valid, you can choose “Use test registration number" instead.

(Skip to the Registration Number section for details)

I entered my phone number and it says, “This phone number is not valid.” What does that mean?

This usually means the number you entered doesn’t match the most recent mobile number you provided during testing.

  • Double-check the number and try again.
  • If you’re sure it’s correct and it still doesn’t work, try signing in another way by selecting "Use test registration number instead".

(Skip to the Registration Number section for details)
I entered the wrong mobile number.

At this time, you can’t change the information you provided when you signed up. If you provided a recovery email when you took the >SAT® School Day, PSAT/NMSQT®,  PSAT™ 10, or PSAT™ 8/9:

  • Select I can’t receive SMS, use my recovery email on the sign-in screen.
  • Enter that email address where prompted in the app.
  • Click receive code via email.
  • Enter the 6-digit authentication code where prompted. If you didn’t provide a recovery email, we’ll be unable to authenticate you securely to enter the mobile app. You can always access your score and score information through a personal College Board account or contact your school counselor to get access to your PDF score report.

My brother/sister/friend uses the same mobile device number as I.

If you both provided a recovery email address, you’ll both be able to get into the app. When you enter the app, if you share a phone number with someone else, you’ll be asked to provide your recovery email address.

  • Enter that email address where prompted in the app.
  • Click receive code via email.
  • Enter the 6-digit authentication code where prompted. You’ll need to follow this process every time you’re prompted to reauthenticate in the mobile app.

If you didn’t provide a recovery email, we’ll be unable to authenticate you securely to enter the mobile app. You can always access your score and score information through a personal College Board account or contact your school counselor to get access to your PDF score report.

Why am I being asked for a recovery email?

If you provided a recovery email when testing, it’s used as an extra way to confirm your identity.

  • If you know and can access that email, you can use it to finish signing in.
  • If you can’t access that email, you won’t be able to sign in right now.

If that happens, you can still view your scores through your College Board account or by asking your school counselor for your PDF score report.

Registration Number (Alternate Sign In)

What is my registration number and where can I find it?

Your registration number is a code you received when you tested.

You can find it:

  • On your test ticket
  • On your PDF score report
  • In your online College Board score report

If you can’t access any of these, your school counselor can help you get a copy of your score report.

I used my registration number, but it says, “Invalid registration number.” Why?

This can happen if:

  • The registration number doesn’t match your record
  • You were under 13 when you tested
  • You tested outside the U.S.
  • Your test wasn’t an eligible in-school SAT Suite test
  • You tested on an SAT Weekend
  • You took the PSAT 8/9 before fall 2025
  • You attend a non-eligible school

If none of these apply, double-check the number and try again.

New Phone Numbers and Devices

What if my phone number changed after I tested?

Right now, you can’t change the phone number connected to your BigFuture School access.

That’s why we recommend providing a recovery email—it gives you another way to get your sign-in code if you lose access to your phone number.

Can I use the app on a new phone or device?

Yes. You can download the app on any supported device.
To sign in again, you’ll still need access to:

  • The mobile number you used when testing, or
  • Your recovery email

Eligibility and Availability

What if I didn’t provide a mobile number during testing?

  • Students who didn’t provide a phone number can sign in using their registration number and then add a mobile number for future access.

Can PSAT 8/9 students use the BigFuture School app?

  • Students under 13 can’t use the app.
  • Starting in fall 2025, PSAT 8/9 students who are 13 or older and test in the U.S. can provide a mobile number and use the app.
  • PSAT 8/9 students still cannot use Connections

  • Test in school
  • Test during a school day
  • Test in the United States or U.S. territories
  • Provide a U.S. mobile number
