What information will students need to verify their eligibility?

To claim their award(s), students will be asked to verify their eligibility on BigFuture.org. This includes qualifying scores for eligible exams taken by the fall 2024 and cumulative GPA by the time of the submission. For the First-Generation Recognition Award, students will need to disclose their parents’ highest level of education. For the School Recognition and Rural and Small Town Recognition Awards, students will need to confirm their high school. 

Students can nominate themselves for the First-Generation and Rural and Small Town award designations if they are not formally invited. They cannot nominate themselves for the School Recognition Award. Students may also provide their high school counselor's and/or parent/guardian's name and email to alert them about the submission and any subsequent deadlines.
