What’s this all about?

It’s a new way to connect students with colleges that may be a good fit—based on academic info and college preferences you choose to share. The goal is to remove common barriers and help students plan for college with less stress.

Will I be enrolled automatically?

No. If a college expresses interest or offers you a spot, it’s still your decision whether to accept. Nothing is final unless you choose to move forward.

What information do colleges see?

Colleges get a de-identified profile, which includes the information below. Colleges do not see your name, race, ethnicity, or personally identifiable information when making decisions. If you receive a preliminary offer and are interested in it, you will opt in to have your name and email shared.

  • Major
  • National Recognition Program Small Town/Rural Recognition Award and/or First-Generation Recognition Award

Nope. This program skips those steps and keeps things simple.

Which test scores will be used?

Scores through the June SAT test administration will be considered for this program.

How do I indicate what institutions I'm interested in?

In College Search under Admissions, select the "Direct Admissions" filter to see all participating institutions to date. Make sure to save any you're interested in from the list to indicate your interest. We will continue to update the list of participating institutions over the next couple of months.

What if I don’t get any outreach or offers?

No problem. You can still apply to any college you want using the traditional application process.

Is my information safe?

Yes. Your personally identifiable information isn’t shared unless you decide to move forward with a college that reaches out to you.
