Requirements
  • This program is open to the children or grandchildren of active, retired, disabled, deceased, or laid-off members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters with at least 12 months of consecutive membership in good standing.
  • Applicants for academic scholarships must be high school seniors in the top 15% of their graduating class who plan to attend an accredited college or university; applicants for training and vocational scholarships must be preparing for a career in a teamsterrelated industry.
  • Canadian students may apply during their junior or senior year of high school but not both.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT/ACT scores, character, potential, and financial need.
  • Recipients of the 4year scholarships must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
