Why Should I Join?
- Unlock opportunities from over 1,500 4-year colleges and scholarship programs offering $300 million in scholarships each year.
- Note: Students who are contacted by colleges through Student Search receive, on average, 29% more offers of college admission.
- Rest assured: Only nonprofit accredited colleges and universities (domestic and international), nonprofit scholarship providers, and government agencies administering educational programs can reach out to students and parents through Student Search. How Does It Work?
- You create a College Board account and add your information.
- You join Student Search Service.
- You can add your parents information to your account. Your parents will receive an email with a link to also join Student Search as a parent.
When Do I Join
You can join anytime during your high school career. We recommend staying in the program until you make your college decision and find the scholarships and financial aid you need.
What If I Change My Mind
Participation in Student Search is always free and voluntary. You can opt out at any time.
