Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of San Diego County who are committed to enhancing the health care and educational needs of the Hispanic community.
  • Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in an L.V.N., R.N., associate, baccalaureate, graduate, or postgraduate degree nursing program in the county.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the last year and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher for all college courses.
  • Firsttime applicants are not required to be members of the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (SDNAHN), but they must become a member before a scholarship will be awarded.
