Requirements
  • This program is open to members and junior members of the Society who are in the first year or later of a college or university program leading to a bachelor's or advanced degree at a school in any state.
  • Applicants must submit an essay, up to 750 words in length, on a topic that changes annually but relates to the history of the Mayflower Pilgrims in America.
  • Selection is based primarily on that essay, which is judged on organization, clarity of thought, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Financial need is not considered.
