You can access the app if you're 13 or older, attend a participating U.S. school, and at least one of these applies to you:

  • You've taken the SAT® School Day, PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, or PSAT™ 8/9
  • You're enrolled in an eligible AP and your school has opted in to offer the app to students

* BigFuture School is not offered to students in New York as part of their AP course participation. There may be other exclusions.

How to sign in: If you provided your mobile number to access the BigFuture School app, use that same number to sign in. We'll text you a code.

Use the BigFuture School App Throughout High School

BigFuture School is a free mobile app that gives you control over college and career planning. If you opt in to Connections™ (where available), College Board shares messages from nonprofit colleges, scholarship providers, and government agencies offering education programs looking for students like you.

Connect learning to opportunity

BigFuture School helps students explore how the types of academic skills they may be developing could lead to future opportunities.

Easily access your SAT Suite scores

When you take an in school SAT or PSAT-related assessment, you must provide your mobile number each time you take a test to be notified when your scores are available.

Connect with Colleges

If you join Connections, you can match with colleges and receive messages we share from colleges and scholarship programs are looking for students like you. 
*A school, district, or state may choose to not provide access to Connections. Connections is not available in NY and not available to 8th graders taking the PSAT 8/9.

College and Career Guidance

Use our personalized tools to search for colleges and explore career paths and get messages that can help guide you along the way.

Need Help Accessing the App?

For in-school SAT or PSAT test takers:

  • If/when you take an SAT® School Day, PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, or PSAT™ 8/9, you’ll have the option to share your mobile number during exam setup in Bluebook™. 
  • If you didn’t provide a phone number on test day, you can sign in using your registration number and then add a mobile number for future access.

For AP students:

If you are enrolled in an eligible AP course and your school has provided access to BigFuture School, you’ll have the option to share your mobile number when you first register  to join an AP class section in My AP. If you want to access at a later date, you can choose to get access in My AP any time during the school year.
