St. John's University is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic University founded in 1870 by the Congregation of the Mission (the Vincentians), with its main campus in Queens, NY. St. John's promotes student success and an education that elevates through academic excellence, global studies, and a focus on service. Through course-related service activities, students learn to broaden their minds, open their hearts, and embrace their communities. St. John's combines classroom instruction with innovative approaches to pedagogy, including online and hybrid learning.
