The University of Houston - Downtown accepts up to 24 hours of credit by examination. Nationally recognized standardized examinations such as the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) program, and the International Baccalaureate Programme may be used. All credit by examination will be considered equivalent to transfer credit and will not be included in GPA calculation.
