AP Credit Policy
A maximum of 7 units of transfer credit, including credit by examination, may be applied to a degree program and credit will not be awarded for the same course more than once. Credit earned by examination may be used to satisfy requirements in the same manner as the college courses, which the tests replace, or as the academic department concerned might specify. Like transfer work, credit earned by examination will not be used in the calculation of a student's grade point average and exam results are not listed on the University of Richmond transcript. Exemption from a course based on an examination score will meet an individual requirement but will not be eligible for the transfer of credit.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
