From the Institution

Antioch College is an affordable and progressive 4-year liberal arts college located in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The college guides each student through a self-designed major process leading to the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. Additionally, every student participates in the College's Cooperative Education program, which requires students to complete three quarters of full-time work experiences locally, nationally, or internationally before completing the degree. This means that Antioch's experience offers unparalleled opportunities to engage with the world. Community is one of Antioch's other pillars of experiential learning. Students are encouraged to take advantage of a governance structure that allows them to have a direct say and impact in how the college directs itself. Loren Pope, author of the book College's that Change Lives is quoted as saying, "There is no college or university in the country that makes a more profound difference in a young person's life, or that creates more effective adults."
