Principia College provides an outstanding liberal arts academic program in a unique learning environment that supports students' spiritual growth, founded on character education based on the "whole person" concept. Principia's purpose as an educational institution is built on the foundation of Christian Science. We strive to fulfill that purpose by training our students "to think clearly, vigorously, fearlessly, tolerantly, and unselfishly" in every aspect of their lives (Education at The Principia, Mary Kimball Morgan, p. 229). The faculty at Principia College includes world-class scientists, published authors, noted historians, and celebrated artists and musicians.
