Located just four miles south of Bismarck, N.D., students at United Tribes Technical College enjoy the benefits of city life, but study on a small campus with a strong sense of community. UTTC students are never far from nature and always connected to others who will nurture their career development. Our tribal college is dedicated to creating brighter futures for all who study on our campus. United Tribes Technical College is a regionally accredited institution, having maintained continuous accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission since 1982 and currently through 2021. In addition, UTTC is the first tribal college in the nation authorized to offer fully online degree programs. The college is considered a 1994 Tribal Land-Grant Institution. The College was founded to provide a community in which Indian people can acquire an education and obtain employment. UTTC's mission is to provide quality post-secondary education and training to enhance knowledge, diversity, and leadership for all indigenous nations. Leadership begins here!
