AP Credit Policy

Either 4 or 8 quarter units granted for each Advanced Placement Exam with a score of 3 or more. The admission policy grants honors credit for each AP course taken with an additional point in the high school GPA. AP Exams are equated with the courses at UCSB and students who have AP Exam scores above 3 can then opt out of certain courses with the AP exam results.
