From the Institution

Since its founding in 1958, Columbus State University has been a university that fosters creativity to change lives. CSU helps its 8,200-plus students build their creative muscles to see things in new ways, collaborate across disciplines, and discover unexpected solutions-whether they are pursuing careers in the arts, business, technology, sciences, education or health professions. Serving the Southeast while attracting students internationally, CSU is consistently ranked as a top regional university in the South and as a military-friendly institution, and is cited as an innovator in fields ranging from business to nursing. New programs in cybersecurity, communication, film production, public health, public safety and robotics engineering indicate its commitment to preparing graduates for challenging, high-demand jobs. These, and all its 90-plus degree programs, range from certificate and one-year nexus programs to traditional undergraduate and graduate degree options. Some of these include five-year bachelor's-master's combo degrees. Columbus State offers students two distinct living and learning experiences in the same city-connected by an easy 15-minute campus shuttle ride. Its 130-acre Main Campus offers all one would expect from a traditional campus environment, while its RiverPark campus merges downtown living with an urban, artsy vibe fostered by CSU's contributions to the local arts, cultural and entertainment scene. Choosing from a robust student life experience may be more challenging, considering CSU's 100-plus campus and Greek Life organizations.
