USF's traditional motto is Culture for Service; that is, we seek to foster academic excellence and the development of mature Christian persons for service to God and humankind in the world. Whether it is a service project in Sioux Falls, an opportunity to mentor a local child, or a service trip to an international orphanage, the Culture for Service motto is lived out daily by members of the USF community to serve as loving, responsible individuals who collaborate well with others to impact the world. Our USF students mature personally, spiritually and intellectually during their academic tenures at USF, and our alumni leave their footprints worldwide as skilled professionals and servant leaders.
